Fraud Prevention for Business
Join Austin LaVoie, Branch Manager and AVP at Dime Bank, alongside CTSBDC Advisor Shelly Koehler, for an informative workshop focused on protecting your small business from fraud. As today’s businesses operate in an increasingly digital and interconnected environment, fraud schemes are becoming more sophisticated and harder to detect. Small business owners, often managing multiple roles with limited internal controls, are especially vulnerable targets. This session will help entrepreneurs recognize common fraud risks, understand how criminals exploit businesses, and take proactive steps to safeguard their operations.
